About Us

TREATMENTS

Comprehensive Dental Exam

Our comprehensive dental exam assess the overall health of your mouth. Regular chek ups give us the opportunity to identify and treat potential dental problems before they become painful, complex or costly to treat and to help you maintain healthy teeth and gums for life.

Emergency Dentistry

Even if you have not been to our practice before, and are looking for emergency dental treatment, we will do our best to help. We offer emergency appointments to our patients in pain usually within 24 hours or on the same day where possible.

Dental Hygiene

Preventative Hygiene cleaning keeps your teeth and gums healthy and disease free. Even the best brushing and flossing routines cannot eliminate all traces of bacteria on our teeth and gums (plaque) that can lead to bad breath and bleeding gums. Regular hygiene cleans keep these problems away.

White Fillings

A white filling is a tooth-coloured resin filling used to restore decayed or broken teeth. White fillings are used as an alternative to amalgam (silver) fillings, which are aesthetically poor and contain mercury.

Invisalign

Invisalign clear aligner straighten teeth predictably and comfortably with a dentist managing the treatment from start to finish They are invisible clear braces / aligners used to straighten teeth discreetly, without affecting your daily routine.

Dental Implants

Implants offer a permanent solution for your missing teeth. A dental implant is essentially a substitute for a natural root and is placed into a socket carefully drilled at the precise location of the intended tooth.

Aesthetic Dentistry

Aesthetic Dentistry embraces all the dental treatment disciplines to create the best outcome for patients. These treatments provides high quality functional dental restorations with optimal aesthetic value.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth stained by food, drink – mainly red wine, coffee and tea – and tobacco can be significantly lightened by using a dental whitening agent. It’s a safe way to brighten up your smile and does not remove any natural tooth material

Gum Treatment

Research suggests that some form of Gum disease affects almost 50% of UK population over the age of 30 . About 15% of the population appear to suffer from more severe forms of the disease, which caused rapid loss of supporting bone. We offer several treatment options - the key is to diagnose the problem early - so do regularly book and attend your dental check ups.

Children's Teeth

Regular check-ups of your children from a young age will ensure they won’t suffer from untreated dental diseases in their early years. Fluoride applications safeguard children's teeth from decaying. We ensure that the parents are informed in detail about the dental health of their children to enable informed decisions being made for any required dental treatments.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment (also called endodontic treatment) is needed when the blood supply or nerve of the tooth is infected through decay or injury. This treatment cleans and then removes all infected parts from the root canal. The root is then filled to prevent any further infection.

Tooth Removal/Extraction

When a tooth cannot be saved, either due to extensive decay or gum disease or to make space for orthodontic treatment, a teeth may need to be removed. After a tooth has been extracted, a dental implant or denture are some of the available treatments to replace the extracted tooth.

Porcelain Veneers

A veneer covers the front of your teeth just like a false finger nail. Veneers are made of porcelain and are used mainly for aesthetic reasons.  They make teeth look natural and healthy, and are held in place by a special strong bond (rather like super-glue) hence very little preparation of the tooth is needed

Crowns

It is a custom made cover over your own tooth, restoring function and aesthetics. Crowns, unlike veneers, cover all surfaces of a tooth and are used to strengthen weekend or broken down teeth. They are custom made in a dental laboratory.

Bridges

Designed to fill gaps left when one or more teeth are missing. They are fixed to your existing adjacent teeth for bridging the gap

Dentures

Dentures are removable replacements for your teeth, designed to look and function like your own natural teeth and surrounding gum tissues. Modern-day dentures look very realistic and feel comfortable.

Retainers

Essential in almost all orthodontic cases to help prevent the teeth moving once the braces are removed. Available as either clear removable or fixed (wire) retainer

Mouth Guards

Custom made to fit over your teeth and gums, cushioning them and protecting them from damage. Used for sports and in cases of teeth grinding.

"I have recently had a couple of visits to Oak Tree Dental Practice, and it is the most professional and caring dental practice I have ever visited. I am a nervous patient I would say, but I was put at ease, and the whole experience was brilliant. I came out feeling very happy and with sparkling teeth!! Absolutely brilliant, I would definitely recommend!

-R.S.

Superb treatment experienced during my recent visits. The entire team is professional, courteous and keen to put a nervous patient like myself at ease. Never felt a thing!
